Case Study: Aviation Australia is Asia-pacific's leading aviation training organisation, funded by the QLD government, that deals with an international client base. The organisation required a new website to enhance their marketing to their segmented client base and to improve the online presence of the government funded company. Consumer research was carried out over several meetings with consumer focus groups. Design concepts were provided to the client proposing the development of 4 "mini websites" and the development process began.

Fireworks was commissioned to redevelop their website and online shopping cart system which allows customers to purchase and license the software to their computers. Fireworks created the new management system for ESET staff to manage subscriptions and computer licenses.

Case Study: Autism QLD had for many years been using an Access database to store various client and operating data. Fireworks migrated this clunky old method into a secure online system. This increase the speed of the system, allowed more staff to access it and provided additional reporting and management tools.

Client: K2
Case Study: K2 is a popular outdoor adventure brand. The company wished to begin selling online. K2 had a unique requirement to create an e-commerce store that would be automatically updated from MYOB on a daily basis. Fireworks developed an importing / exporting script to automate this process between MYOB and the website. Once the website was built, Fireworks began marketing the website via Google which resulted in hundreds of orders coming through the website.

Case Study: Zenec required a website that they could control via a simple management system. They also required an introductory flash animation to illustrate the use of the products. Staff chose to input content themselves via the management system once the structure of the website was set up to save funds on development costs.

Client: Shlimbo
Case Study:Shlimbo is a new and unique concept where shoppers and businesses are put into contact with each other with only a few clicks of a button.

The development behind this mammoth Australia wide project was carried out in PHP coding with MySQL databases.

Shlimbo's online system consists of multiple user log in areas and a management system from Shlimbo staff to administrate all of the user accounts. The front end system consists of over 250 page scripts and 120 admin page scripts. Shlimbo's development took over 12 months of constant work and project management. Fireworks also provide ongoing maintenance and support.

Case Study: Ratefront required an online facility for taking home loan applications. This complicated online system dynamically collects available home loans from Banks and major financial institutions on the fly, then allowing the user to apply for the home loan.

Case Study: Abel Car Hire is a well known company in Brisbane. You'll often see their vehicles on the road. However they wanted and updated website and a stronger presence in the search engines such as Google. Fireworks developed a new website for Abel Car Hire and then undertook a vigorous optimisation campaign to list Abel on the first page of Google for over 100 different search phrases such as "car hire brisbane", "cheap car hire brisbane" and "rent a car brisbane".
