WHAT ARE QR CODES?

A QR code (abbreviated from Quick Response code) is a square barcode that is decipherable by QR barcode readers. The cypher contains black dots organized in a square pattern on a white background. The information encoded can be either text information, a website URL, or additional data.

So for instance, you can take a URL like www.website.com and this can be programmed into a Quick Response code to be embodied as a barcode.
